How to free up space on the OnePlus Nord N100

Short answer

To free up space on the Nord N100, open Settings > Storage & memory to see what is using it, clear duplicates with Google Photos: Free up space on this device, then empty Photos's Recently Deleted. A default 13 MP photo is about 3.9 MB, so 5,000 photos take roughly 20 GB of the 64 GB base model.

Only 64 GB of storage, but it takes microSD cards up to 256 GB.

On the Nord N100, Photos's Recently Deleted holds them for 30 days (Photos > Albums > Recently Deleted). It launched on Android 10, before Android 11's system trash, so that depends on it having been updated.
