Feature
Screenshot cleaner: remove junk, expired screenshots and old reminder photos
Short answer
GalleryJury sorts your screenshots by what they show and how long they stay useful. One-time codes, delivery updates, expired boarding passes, old chats and photos of parking spots or whiteboards are suggested for removal. Receipts, tickets for future dates, IDs and documents are kept. You approve the list, then clear it in one tap.

Which screenshots are junk?
Most screenshots are useful for minutes or days. The app looks for:
- One-time codes and payment confirmations whose moment has passed.
- Expired tickets and boarding passes with a date in the past.
- Delivery and cab updates, order-tracking screens, ride receipts you never needed.
- Chat screenshots shared once and forgotten.
- Reminder photos: the parking-level sign, the hotel room number, a whiteboard, a price tag from a shop.
- Duplicate screenshots of the same screen taken twice.
Which screenshots does it keep?
Screenshots that look like IDs, bank details, medical reports, tax documents, warranty cards or receipts are Protected and never added to the clean list. Tickets for future dates are kept until the date passes. See ID and document protection.
Why not just delete the whole Screenshots folder?
You can, and it is the fastest free method if you are sure there is nothing important in it. The risk is the one screenshot of an ID card, insurance policy number or flight booking you needed. Sorting by content gets you most of the space back without that risk. Our guide to bulk-deleting screenshots shows both approaches.
Frequently asked questions
How does it know a screenshot has expired?
The AI judge reads visible dates and the kind of screen (boarding pass, OTP message, order tracker). A ticket dated last March is expired. If it cannot tell, the screenshot is kept.
Does it read the text in my screenshots?
The AI judge reads what a screenshot shows from a shrunk copy (512–1024px), which our servers delete right after analysis. The result is stored on your phone, not on our servers. See privacy and safety.
